Battle Beaver Customs is hiring for several technician positions to be trained in Amarillo, TX for full-time employment at the secondary Battle Beaver location in the North Dallas area.

Our company builds custom performance gaming controllers tailored to the competitive console gamer. Battle Beaver controllers are used by professionals around the world and have been the tool of choice for many major tournament champions. Our company's success is found in its staff, the employees of Battle Beaver Customs understand the importance of the equipment needed to play at the highest level and strive to provide professional-grade controllers to everyone.

We are looking for candidates with strong critical thinking skills and attention to small details. Technicians will need to diagnose malfunctions in the building process and troubleshoot issues for existing products across various generations with speed and competence. The ideal employee will set an example for current / future staff and have an intermediate understanding of small electronics.

Battle Beaver Customs continues its success with various professional players and organizations across a variety of eSports and has grown beyond what a single location can offer. Plans have been put into motion to open a second location in the North Dallas area between the Summer and Fall of 2019. Currently we are looking for candidates that will be permanent employees to be trained at the Amarillo Location that will become a part of the initial crew at the North Dallas location. The relocation time-frame is to be determined upon opening of the second location, but it is a significant transitional opportunity for our business and our employees. We are currently only looking for candidates that are open and willing to relocate with the business in that time-frame.

Job Summary

  • Assist and carry out daily business operations and maintenance
  • Modify new and old 1st party gaming controllers
  • Operate small hand tools
  • Provide excellent customer service
  • Resolve any conflicts, technical problems, or emergencies that may arise on shift
  • Potentially travel to gaming events around the country
  • Perform and keep inventory records

Minimum Qualifications

  • Must have high school diploma/ GED

  • Must be able to follow detailed instructions
  • Exercise fair judgement and strong decision-making skills
  • Legally able to work in the U.S.
  • Location in Amarillo, TX to relocate to the North Dallas Area in Summer/Fall of 2019

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience with soldering small electronics
  • Experience with small detail cutting equipment (x-acto knife/sculpting)
  • Possess strong interpersonal and organizational skills

Pay

  • Starting pay based on experience - (Ranging from 11.00 - 14.00/Hour)
