About the role:

We are actively scouting talented 2D Environment Concept Artists who can transform artistic visions into life through captivating characters. At AMC we bring depth and realism to game characters and worlds, ensuring players are immersed in unforgettable adventures!

Role responsibilities:

  • Create high-quality 2D environments and props in aphotorealistic or stylized manner for triple-A games

  • Contribute your creative prowess to concept, iterate, and produce visual assets for all stages of props and environment development, from initial sketches to fully rendered artworks that meet industry standards.

  • Adapt to various art directions and different project styles.

  • Address creative and technical issues as they arise.

  • Work closely with your Team and the Art Director.

  • Participate in artistic validation sessions to ensure high quality.

  • Respect deadlines established with the Production department.

  • Participate actively in Team and department meetings.

  • A mind for technical function and aesthetic pursuit with an ability to balance creativity with function

  • Ability to work within gameplay design restraints (environment scale, character abilities, prototype function, etc.) and translate those restrictions into visuals that enhance the experience

Requirements

  • Excellent knowledge of Photoshop and a 3D software (Max, Maya, Blender, Zbrush).

  • Knowledge of perspective, composition, design, depth and color theory.

  • Have at least 2+years of experience or shipped previous product

  • Portfolio that demonstrates examples of industry-standard artwork.

  • Strong design, problem-solving, and quick-thinking skills.

  • Preferred experience with creating military designs and characters

  • Knowledge of game art production pipelines.

  • Good knowledge of artistic culture (games, cinema, traditional art etc.).

  • Excellent knowledge of the human anatomy

  • Excellent verbal, written, and visual communication skills

  • Autonomy, resourcefulness and good organizational and time management skills.
