Activision Blizzard’s IT Enterprise Services division is looking for an experienced and talented Sailpoint Engineer to join our Identity and Access Management Operations team.

The IAM Ops team is responsible for engineering and administration of the applications and services which support identity management along with on-prem and cloud authentication. This role augments our team of Identity Engineers responsible for designing and operating SailPoint IdentityIQ services, which handle identity provisioning and lifecycle management across the Activision, Blizzard, and King organizations. The ideal candidate is well-versed in identity management principles and is specifically experienced in SailPoint IdentityIQ development leveraging compiled Java classes. If you haven’t worked with Sailpoint IdentityIQ before, but you’re an amazing Java developer with experience using other forms of user identity management and a passion to learn more, you may still be a good match for the role.

A good Identity Engineer is a self-starter who watches for every area of improvement and proactively drives new solutions to stay ahead of the company’s needs. Working directly with our project management and other IT teams, this role will drive decisions which shape our services for years to come. This role also works directly with our Information Security team to review proposed configurations before implementing, and to address any issues with existing infrastructure and resolve issues with existing policies and configurations.

Responsibilities

  • Primary support and development provider for SailPoint IdentityIQ.

  • Implement, maintain and improve business processes (workflows) in Sailpoint IdentityIQ.

  • Analyze permission schemes and integration options of new applications, recommend configurations that meet best practices then design and implement integrations that include provisioning, deprovisioning and account reconciliation.

  • Build and extend upon our existing roles and entitlements to effectively group and provision access to users based on rules/criteria as well as on-demand requests.

  • Follow and improve our iterative development practices to ensure the future sustainability of our platform.

  • Troubleshooting and fixing workflow, provisioning and other Sailpoint IdentityIQ related issues and errors.

  • Develop and maintain installation and configuration documentation.

  • Support our Sailpoint IdentityIQ infrastructure during business hours and participate in an on-call rotation providing 24/7 support.

  • Perform other related duties as assigned.

Requirements

  • Experience developing in Java compiled classes.

  • Experience using version control systems, preferably Git.

  • Experience designing and implementing SailPoint IdentityIQ or additional years of Java development.

  • Experience working in an enterprise IT environment.

  • Ability to solve problems independently and drive collaboration with the immediate team and external teams as needed to meet strategic goals.

  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills.

  • Ability to troubleshoot basic issues as it relates to the platform where Sailpoint is deployed, such as Windows/Linux Operating Systems, SQL-backend, etc.

  • Excellent English written and verbal communication skills.

  • Willing to travel occasionally.

Bonus Points For

  • A degree in computer science, Information Technology or related field.

  • Experience with PowerShell.

  • Experience with Active Directory.

  • Experience with AzureAD.

  • Experience with SSO, Privileged Access Management, multi-factor and federation/authorization protocols (SAML, OpenID Connect, OAuth).

  • Experience working with Eclipse interactive development environment.

  • Experience with XML, SQL, REST APIs, SCIM.

  • Experience working in a DevOps environment, or knowledge of DevOps principles.

  • Virtualization experience with VMware.

  • Good understanding of IAM and/or security best practices, both theory and practical implementation.
