We are seeking a Lead Software Engineer in Test in our Ads Engineering team, empowering cutting edge mobile advertising technologies to create the next generation of our Ads Platform.

Level Up - Your Role With Activision Blizzard Media

  • Work strategically with Product, Architects and Engineering leads to define quality practices
  • Lead the automation framework and architecture for backend systems and SDK products
  • Collaborate with the product team to ensure key quality metrics are defined in requirements
  • Create overall testing strategy based on end- to- end Product scenarios
  • Implement test cases, evaluate results, prepare test data and design functional tests in required framework
  • Work cross functionally to troubleshoot test failures in the test or live environment
  • Lead a team of QA testers and Engineers in testing and documentation best practices

Game Changer - What You Bring To The Role

  • 7+ years of experience in automation testing
  • Strong programming skills in Java & Python
  • Experience with Modern C++ and Mobile App development environments
  • Extensive experience with service automation and automation framework development e.g. TestNG
  • Strong experience in stress testing scalable, high throughput, low latency APIs that handles 200K+ QPS
  • Familiar with AWS/GCP cloud technologies
  • Familiar with CI/CD Automation and capable of designing CI Automation
  • Ability to work in a fast paced, iterative development environment with short turn- around times
  • BS in Computer Science or Equivalent

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience working with AWS and/or Google Cloud Platform (GCP).
  • Experience in the gaming and/or advertising industry.
