What We Need

As the owner of all things internal QA for our games, you will be responsible for establishing best-practices and efficient process for our QA pipeline as part of our Production organization. You will be collaborating with various disciplines and pods to understand the product vision and customer segment to develop appropriate test strategies with our Global QA department.

  • Work with studios and internal/external QA teams to establish quality assurance standards procedures
  • Provide professional and career management for QA teams and reports
  • Work with cross-functional stakeholders from production, development, art, and engineering teams
  • Implement change management strategies to scale and optimize workflow
  • Build relationships between studio and vendor leadership to achieve good alignment
  • Measure and gauge performance of the vendor through KPIs and metric based analysis
  • Plan short and long-term project capacity planning for various milestones

Who You Are

You are both a strategic thinker and a tactical implementer that can get the ball rolling in the right direction as well as with the right velocity. You are an encouraging and thoughtful mentor to QA staff providing guidance and inspiration to keep the quality bar high and always clear it.

  • 5+ years of experience in overall software QA/test experience, with at least 1 year as Lead or Manager
  • Proven experience in building and managing a test team
  • Experience developing high-quality test plans and test reports
  • Experience shipping 2+ products (guiding them from initial planning to a customer-facing release)
  • Knowledge of QA methodology and tools, software testing standards, methods and conventions, and the product development cycle
  • Passion for and knowledge of multiplayer video games
  • Experience working closely with development and business teams to communicate problem impacts and to understand business requirements
  • High proficiency with bug reporting and related software.
  • Strong people skills.
