We are looking for a Hard Surface Artist with a great passion to make games and takes pride on pushing the craft to new level of excellence.

Responsibilities

  • Primary responsibility will be to model and texture weapons, vehicles, and mechanical objects of all kinds for a game developed with the Unreal Engine
  • Working alongside the art, animation and design teams to make assets that fit all requirements of the game
  • Help to develop and document new workflows used by the hard surface team

Required Qualifications

  • Ability to create hard surface models with a high level of execution is multiple styles
  • Solid understanding of weapons/machines mechanical function and operation
  • Proven record making hard surface assets for games
  • Excellent Maya or similar 3D modeling software skills
  • Expert level knowledge of high poly modeling
  • Expert level knowledge of creating materials using substance painter and designer
  • Solid understanding of asset optimization techniques/challenges
  • Self-motivation and the ability to collaborate and thrive in a team-oriented creative environment
  • Strong portfolio of real and fictional models for games
  • Proven experience with rigging and animating hard surface assets
  • Able to work and communicate in English
  • Must be EU Citizen
