We are looking for a Hard Surface Artist with a great passion to make games and takes pride on pushing the craft to new level of excellence.
Responsibilities
- Primary responsibility will be to model and texture weapons, vehicles, and mechanical objects of all kinds for a game developed with the Unreal Engine
- Working alongside the art, animation and design teams to make assets that fit all requirements of the game
- Help to develop and document new workflows used by the hard surface team
Required Qualifications
- Ability to create hard surface models with a high level of execution is multiple styles
- Solid understanding of weapons/machines mechanical function and operation
- Proven record making hard surface assets for games
- Excellent Maya or similar 3D modeling software skills
- Expert level knowledge of high poly modeling
- Expert level knowledge of creating materials using substance painter and designer
- Solid understanding of asset optimization techniques/challenges
- Self-motivation and the ability to collaborate and thrive in a team-oriented creative environment
- Strong portfolio of real and fictional models for games
- Proven experience with rigging and animating hard surface assets
- Able to work and communicate in English
- Must be EU Citizen
