Role Overview
The Age Ratings Producer will coordinate the submission of age ratings approvals to all International governing bodies on behalf of every 2K game in development.
Responsibilities
Has proficient understanding of general age rating boards, policies, and can identify sensitive content which could affect potential for release or rating strictness.
Keeps essential teams informed of age rating guidelines for submissions, as well as the application of logos on all materials.
Advises customers of the age ratings achieved for every project
Provide clear and concise feedback to PD on risky pertinent content
Schedule and lead regular check ups with game teams to resolve any age ratings concerns with content or schedule
Build-out calendar of work and submissions of age ratings
Maintain accurate summaries of progress and update tasks management systems
Monitor team work systems: provide suggestions for improvement with the team’s goals in mind
Prepares invoicing and payments for Ratings submissions.
Meets with key customers and partners on a recurring basis to maintain awareness of project statuses and concerns.
Delivers Ratings Board Confirmation Letters to applicable parties, maintaining oversight on projects after submission to ensure no changes have been made that would invalidate approvals, and ensures studios have performed necessary content audits prior to video game manufacturing.
Responsible for creating training curriculum for Associate Producers and Assistant Producers
Coordinate delivery of internal rating board materials to proper regional contacts
Own communication with PD and Marketing for assigned products
Uphold and promote the 2K Values
Knowledge and Skills
Knowledge of all major age ratings agency requirements and submission process
Excellent communication skills, both oral and written, internally & externally
Excellent organization and time management skill with the ability to handle multiple projects and deadlines simultaneously, and the flexibility to support an environment where details can change quickly.
Ability to manage competing timelines and information needs on multiple projects and platforms at once
Knowledge of MS Office suite
Experience with video editing work including capture footage and editing in software such as Adobe Premiere
Knowledge of JIRA, Adobe Suite and G-Suite
Required Qualifications
Minimum of 1 - 3 years of work involved with age ratings
Bachelors or Associates degree preferred, High School diploma or equivalent minimum.
Attention to detail and positive personality to foster excellent working relationships.
