We’re looking for a seasoned Motion Designer to join the creative Brand Studio team. The candidate will help drive brand awareness, user acquisition, and revenue in collaboration with business stakeholders. Your stunning 2D and 3D motion graphics and animations will be used for a wide variety of projects, including videos, ads, web assets, social media content, events, and other digital media. You’ll be part of the design team responsible for conceiving, creating, and presenting visual ideas, and you will also build and maintain guidelines around our motion graphics standards.

You have well-rounded design skills, a desire to learn, a passion for problem-solving informed design, and you excel at collaborating with cross-functional colleagues to create engaging, creative, and user-centered design solutions that reflect the company’s brand and philosophy. Your portfolio should reflect excellence in both 2D and 3D formats. You’ll also play a key role in evolving and applying the motion language for the brand, and guiding projects from ideation through design, development, and production. The position also requires quick design reflexes and excellent time-management and communication skills.

What you'll be doing

  • Collaborate closely with designers, copywriters, video editors, and stakeholders to create impactful and immersive campaigns that drive results promoting Unity’s real-time 3D technology, products, and initiatives

  • Improve our social media channels with smart, well-crafted motion graphics

  • Extend the brand in creative and cohesive ways according to the company’s needs

  • Expand the brand’s motion language, and create and contribute to guidelines and best practices

What we're looking for

  • A great sense of design, composition, color, and typography; high attention to detail, and mastery of the Adobe Creative Suite and Figma

  • Confidence in presenting and defending design ideas, plus the ability to build consensus

  • Proven track record in motion design, preferably in an agency or in-house creative environment

  • Strong portfolio showcasing a variety of 2D and 3D motion graphics and animations across different mediums and platforms

  • Excellent communication, time management, collaboration, attention to detail, and problem-solving skills

You might also have

  • Video editing skills

  • Working knowledge of Unity’s real-time 3D platform

  • Working knowledge of Cinema 4D
