The opportunity

We are looking for a dynamic and results-driven Senior Account Executive to join our team and contribute to the growth of our Publisher Partnerships. As an Account Executive, you will be the quarterback for your accounts - responsible for managing relationships with key publisher stakeholders, driving revenue through upselling our suite of products, and ensuring smooth renewals. You will collaborate cross-functionally with teams including Account Management, Legal, Finance, and Product to deliver value to our partners and help them achieve their objectives.

 

To be successful in the role, you’ll need to have a comprehensive understanding of the mobile ad ecosystem and become an expert in Unity’s ad monetization platform. You’ll have the ability to understand and sell product solutions and to connect with all relevant stakeholders.

 

We are looking for an extraordinary Senior Account Executive to join our Sales team in the U.S., part of the larger Grow organization at Unity, and help expand our publisher partners utilizing our solutions.

 

What you'll be doing

  • Sales & Upselling: Own the sales process end-to-end, from identifying new opportunities to pitching solutions, negotiating terms, and closing deals. Consistently look for opportunities to upsell and cross-sell products to existing partners.

  • Relationship Management: Build, maintain, and grow strong relationships with existing and potential publisher partners. Understand their needs and provide tailored solutions to help them achieve their growth and revenue goals.

  • Account Ownership: Manage your book of business and Salesforce pipeline to reflect the sales process accurately. Track progress and forecast future revenue.

  • Renewal & Negotiation: Lead renewal negotiations and manage timelines to ensure high renewal rates and contract extensions.

  • Industry Expertise: Stay informed about industry trends, news, and developments to leverage insights and tailor your sales approach. Position yourself as an expert in the Publisher and Mobile ad ecosystem.

  • Event Participation: Represent the company at industry events and conferences, managing the team’s presence and fostering your business relationships.

  • Cross-Functional Collaboration: Partner with internal teams such as Account Management, Legal, Finance, and Product to ensure the successful execution of deals and to address client needs effectively. Bring relevant feedback to internal teams.

 

What we're looking for

  • 3+ years of experience in sales or account management, business development, gaming, advertising, affiliate, agency or supply partnerships.

  • History of consistently reaching sales quotas/attainment targets.

  • Strong understanding of how mobile ad networks operate, including familiarity with associated business models and ad products, ad serving technology, ad exchanges, programmatic advertising, etc. 

  • Ability to intimately understand and articulate technical products and services.

  • Ability to prioritize multiple objectives in a high paced environment.

  • High level of written and verbal communication skills.

  • Confident in financial modeling, incrementality analysis, benchmarking models, etc.

  • Great at networking, opening doors and maintaining strong relationships in the industry that result in long term business partnerships.

  • Motivation to seek out knowledge online in industry publications and by following industry leaders.

Base Salary Range: We determine the base salary range for this role based on your primary work location:Zone A: $110,200 - $165,200 USD grossZone B: $120,100 - $180,100 USD grossZone C: $130,000 - $195,000 USD gross

This range reflects the anticipated base salary for this position. Beyond base salary, this role may be eligible for equity awards and participation in our company incentive plans (such as annual discretionary bonuses or sales commissions). The final offer amount will depend on several factors, including geographic location and the candidate’s relevant experience, professional background, and skill set.
