Job Description

The UI Artist will be working closely with the UI Art Director and UX Director to design the look and feel of the User Interface in our games as well as helping to establish the usability strategies. Additionally, the UI Artist, will be eventually responsible for conceptualization, creation and implementation of art assets.

What you will do:

  • Translate high-level gameplay and UX ideas into visually functional UI designs.

  • Deliver and implement high quality UI art in line with the UI art direction and compliant with the accessibility guidelines.

  • Define usability strategies and create compelling visual UI through prototyping, wireframes, graphics and animation.

  • Communicate ideas and concepts with stakeholders and teams, both locally and internationally.

  • Create engaging UI animations that drive player’s attention and offer guidance.

Qualifications

What you bring:

  • Has experience working in the game industry as a UI Artist and understands game production constraints

  • Experienced working with multi-disciplinary teams

  • Skilled with visual communication (graphic design, iconography, typography, animation)

  • Proficiency in conceptualizing, presenting, and executing ideas

  • Technical and artistic problem solving

  • An understanding of the fundamentals of user experience and accessibility approach

  • A good knowledge of the full pipeline for getting UI assets into a game engine

  • Expertise in creating multiplatform compatible UI assets

  • Have a strong understanding of Photoshop and Illustrator

  • Pro-activity, self-motivation, and organization
