Job Description

As a Senior Quest Designer, you are responsible for designing part of the missions of the game. As such, your responsibilities will be to:

  • Participate in the development of the overall mission structure (objectives, awards, missions ...)

  • Be in charge of the paper design and development of main and secondary missions, by integrating the gameplay elements defined by the Game Designers and the scenarios imagined by the Narrative Designers.

  • Use our scripting tool (nodal) to define the triggers necessary to the mission (appearance and exotic behaviours of the AI, scripted events ...),

  • Validate the gameplay of the missions with the testers and Level Artists,

  • Mentore other Quest Designers and help them grow in their position

  • Assist the Lead Level Designer on transversal missions and are the engine within the Level Design team.

Qualifications

  • Advanced training in Design, you have a previous experiences in quest/mission design and have already worked on AAA games

  • You know the technical constraints of an engine and are comfortable with scripting tools have a good capacity to illustrate your intentions,

  • You are creative, analytical, autonomous and rigorous

  • You have a level of English allowing you to interact with your non-French speaking peers

  • You are passionate about creating video games and you have a good video game culture
