We are currently seeking for Senior Financial Analyst to be part of Ubisoft Bucharest Team.
Reporting to the FP&A Manager, you will support the team on all financial planning, P&L analysis, and budgeting activities, review the overall financial performance of the subsidiary, review operational budgets and prepare business cases, business presentations and customized KPI reporting.
You will participate in the daily life cycle of the project from concept to production, launch and post launch phases and you will provide directional information to facilitate decision making.
Roles of a Senior Financial Analyst:
The Senior Financial Analyst has two main focuses:
reporting needs at project level;
reporting needs at studio level.
Your main mission:
Manage the assigned processes for the monthly closing and billing activity.
Review accounting records for correct account and cost center allocation.
Review actuals versus budget monthly variations and prepare explanations for material overruns or underspending.
Review quarterly studio budgets using guidelines and projected growth targets and provide operational comments.
Review project budgets together with project managers.
Review and give budget presentations for studio management and project managers with relevant business explanations.
Interact regularly with internal clients to provide them with financial guidance.
Build and maintain professional relationships with stakeholders.
Qualifications
The professional value you bring:
Significant knowledge of financial reporting, budgeting, cost control or similar fields
Extensive working experience as analyst, controller or other relevant financial roles
Experience in working with sensitive data
Knowledge of data reconciliation in different systems, knowledge of databases
Extensive knowledge of Excel
PowerPoint and Power BI experience
Advanced written and spoken English skills
Experience in video games production or in Software/IT industry with R&D experience is considered a plus
