Since opening its doors in 2008, Ubisoft Singapore has become the biggest AAA game development studio in Southeast Asia. Job Description
YOUR DAILY ADVENTURE
As a QA Engineer Intern, you will help ensure game quality by setting up automated tests that are part of the CI/CD pipeline. You will help make sure that our services are available, that we are able to run tests and report their results. You will also have the chance to get into gameplay code and develop new tests for the project.
WHAT YOU WILL DO
Communicate test results, so developers can fix issues
Investigate issues encountered by automated testing
Highlight issues to appropriate channels
Maintain testing framework, to ensure we can run tests
Develop, integrate, and maintain automated test frameworks
Monitor and maintain automated test infrastructure
Build tools to help monitor and track down issues (for example: gathering of metrics and logs to document issues)
Create automated tests, to ensure we have an always playable game
Evaluate manual test cases for automation
React to issues by adding or writing new test scenarios to detect similar issues
Expose game features to the test framework
Qualifications
WHAT YOU BRING
Familiarity with C++
Knowledge of automated testing frameworks and methodologies (unit; functional; interface; behavioral)
Knowledge of CI/CD tools and processes
Strong communication
Learning mindset
Passionate about gaming
Computer Science degree preferred
Experience with Python development & debugging is a plus
