The Role
As a Principal AI Programmer, you will be a reliable solution finder, somebody who’s able to jump in with an analytical mindset while showing that you’re a collaborative leader in our AI and Gameplay teams.
For this 6 Month FTC we’re after someone who can drive and own key features with NPC behaviours and building a believable living world while maintaining a high levels of code. Using your experience of working in complex codebases you’ll be taking ownership on your features while bringing innovative solutions and de-bugging hard problems.
Joining as our Principal AI Programmer, your ideas will be highly valued while you work alongside your Lead assisting with shaping and contributing to the direction of the team. We want you to be hands on optimizing the systems and having a broad view of what is needed helping to the project hit it’s potential and sharing key knowledge.
This is a great opportunity to make an impact on a currently unannounced AAA title and a chance to develop the AI Codebase influencing the feel of the Gameplay. We want you to have the freedom to test your abilities while being free to research and implement what is possible within the realms of AI in AAA Game Development.
