Job Description

As a Lead Tools Programmer you will be leading the Anno Tools Department. Your mission is to take ownership of our tools pipeline and improve it in close collaboration with other departments. Your goal is to reduce overhead and support the team to focus on developing the game. You will be responsible to develop, design and maintain the tool stack and middleware for all Anno Products. The main technologies you will work with are C#, WPF, C++/CLI, C++ and Jenkins.

What you will do:

  • Manage and lead the tools team.

  • Manage and develop the tools and build pipeline in cooperation with the Technical Director.

  • Review and provide feedback to team members regarding their work in a clear and constructive manner.

  • Develop, maintain and extend our core tools.

  • Determine and fix bugs identified by your colleagues.

  • Analyze existing functionality in the engine and work on enhancements to fulfill the project needs - Suggest improvements by designing and implementing new systems

Qualifications

What you bring:

  • Leadership experience.

  • Proficiency in C# and C++.

  • A good understanding of WPF, and the model to support it (MVVM).

  • Interest to improve the workflow for Designers and Artists.

  • Excellent teamwork abilities

  • Great interpersonal and communication skills.

  • Fluency in written and verbal English.

  • Self-organized and structured working style.

Nice to have: Experience with Jenkins, Perforce and C++/CLI
