Job Description
Work close with the Art Director to define the art style of our project
Enthusiastic about the game industry
Setting team’s development objective, regular 1 on 1 with team members to help them with their career path
Leading, and developing the art team, providing constructive art feedback, training, and coaching both internal and external partners.
Prioritizing, managing, and planning the concept team’s day-to-day tasks in conjunction with the Production Manager.
Foresee the potential risk of our project and team, support the producer with evaluation and mitigation
Be responsible for final delivery, and quality control in accordance with the project's artistic direction, technical restrictions, and deadlines.
Create a working environment friendly and constructively for cross-team collaboration, ensuring a productive internal workflow and beneficial relationships with internal/external partners, and Co-Dev studios.
In collaboration with the Production Manager/Producer, evaluate staffing requirements and be involved in the artists’ recruitment process.
Qualifications
Solid experience in Art production and team lead
Work as a core member in at least two games that have been successfully shipped
Working knowledge of Autodesk May, Autodesk 3ds max, Adobe Photoshop, Substance
Painter and/or another modelling, material, and texture creation tools
Experience with next-gen 3D game development and physically based rendering expertise (PBR) texture creation
Coordinative, proactive, and initiative mindset is needed
Solid experience in team and people management
Good reading and written English are required but oral English is a plus
