Job Description

  • Work close with the Art Director to define the art style of our project

  • Enthusiastic about the game industry

  • Setting team’s development objective, regular 1 on 1 with team members to help them with their career path

  • Leading, and developing the art team, providing constructive art feedback, training, and coaching both internal and external partners.

  • Prioritizing, managing, and planning the concept team’s day-to-day tasks in conjunction with the Production Manager.

  • Foresee the potential risk of our project and team, support the producer with evaluation and mitigation

  • Be responsible for final delivery, and quality control in accordance with the project's artistic direction, technical restrictions, and deadlines.

  • Create a working environment friendly and constructively for cross-team collaboration, ensuring a productive internal workflow and beneficial relationships with internal/external partners, and Co-Dev studios.

  • In collaboration with the Production Manager/Producer, evaluate staffing requirements and be involved in the artists’ recruitment process.

Qualifications

  • Solid experience in Art production and team lead

  • Work as a core member in at least two games that have been successfully shipped

  • Working knowledge of Autodesk May, Autodesk 3ds max, Adobe Photoshop, Substance

  • Painter and/or another modelling, material, and texture creation tools

  • Experience with next-gen 3D game development and physically based rendering expertise (PBR) texture creation

  • Coordinative, proactive, and initiative mindset is needed

  • Solid experience in team and people management

  • Good reading and written English are required but oral English is a plus
