Application Specialist

In the IT Business Application domain of Ubisoft, and more particularly in the Workforce Administration Product Team, we are looking for an Application Specialist to join us on an 18-month fixed-term contract.
Within the Workforce Administration Team, you will play a key role in helping and resolving requests & incidents, being in charge of delivering reliable, efficient, and user-friendly solutions that support HR teams and employees across the organization. You will analyze and understand the users’ needs and provide assistance and ensure the smooth operation of our products. You will suggest improvements and advise end users about the usage, configuration, settings and best practices to ensure products are used to their full potential.
Your main mission:
Perform functional and basic technical analysis on the assigned support tickets and handle the communication with the users;
Collaborate closely with Support Developers to identify the best solutions for bug corrections/ developments in the requested deadlines;
Create working procedures, build-up knowledge database and functional documentation;
Provide trainings and step by step application utilization guidance for applications’ users.
Create SQL queries and request data updates in the database;
Perform regular system monitoring and data clean-up activities;
Qualifications
The professional value you bring:
Previous experience in IT or Accounting/ Finance, preferably around ERP systems;
Previous experience in Customer Support or a similar role
Basic SQL/ Oracle databases knowledge.
Understanding of Accounting principles is an advantage.
Analytical skills.
Good written and oral knowledge of English, French is a plus.
