Job Description
Work closely with animators to promote visual performance including but not limited to character animation, character movement, etc.
Responsible for designing corresponding technical solutions to the needs of animation, and conducting technical feasibility analysis and technical risk assessment
Responsible for the continuous maintenance and technical support of animation system modules and complex animation trees, and can systematically optimize and refactor the existing code base
Responsible for the design, implementation, application and maintenance of procedural animation (IK, Ragdoll, etc.)
Able to support each other with team members in related fields, provide document support for technical solutions, and share technology with team members
Good English communication skills, including oral and written
Qualifications
Good knowledge of computer graphics and mathematics
Good C/C++ foundation, good engineering development experience
Experience in animation technology, including but not limited to rigging, animation diagrams, state machines, physical ragdolls, inverse kinematics (IK), compression, procedural animation, facial animation, DCC SDK, etc.
Have the ability to find problems with the quality of animation visual effects, analyze and solve problems, have strong initiative and teamwork skills
Bonus Points
Experience in game character animation is preferred
Have console or pc game development experience
Programming experience with multiple DCC tools is preferred (Maya, Motion Builder)
With Motion Fields, Machine Learning experience in animation is preferred
