Job Description

Your Daily Adventure

  • Assist with accounting processes and tasks (AR, AP, GL, fixed asset register, balance sheet schedules and account reconciliations).

  • Perform bank reconciliations.

  • Assist with performing routine month-end closing processes.

  • Assist in liaising with external parties like vendors and bankers when required.

  • Provide support for annual financial audit activities.

  • Assist to compile and analyse information for government surveys.

  • Attend to other duties within the accounting team, as required.

Qualifications

Qualifications

  • Must be a recent graduate or actively working towards a Diploma or Bachelor’s in accounting.

  • Satisfactory completion of introductory accounting courses and a basic understanding of accounting and financial principles.

  • Proficiency with Microsoft Excel – understanding of formulas, pivot tables, and v-lookups.

  • Ability to pick up ERP systems.

  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills.

  • Ability to meet deadlines and work in a team environment and fast-paced environment.

  • High level of efficiency, accuracy, and responsibility.

  • Motivation and a strong desire to take on new challenges and learn.
