Job Description

Your Daily Adventure

Assist with accounting processes and tasks (AR, AP, GL, fixed asset register, balance sheet schedules and account reconciliations).
Perform bank reconciliations.
Assist with performing routine month-end closing processes.
Assist in liaising with external parties like vendors and bankers when required.
Provide support for annual financial audit activities.
Assist to compile and analyse information for government surveys.
Attend to other duties within the accounting team, as required.

Qualifications

Must be a recent graduate or actively working towards a Diploma or Bachelor’s in accounting.
Satisfactory completion of introductory accounting courses and a basic understanding of accounting and financial principles.
Proficiency with Microsoft Excel – understanding of formulas, pivot tables, and v-lookups.
Ability to pick up ERP systems.
Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
Ability to meet deadlines and work in a team environment and fast-paced environment.
High level of efficiency, accuracy, and responsibility.
Motivation and a strong desire to take on new challenges and learn.
