Job Description
As an Intern 3d Artist at Ubisoft Barcelona, you will join and work alongside the team responsible for several gameplay features on Assassin’s Creed Valhalla, and continue their mission to develop exciting, challenging, and forward-thinking features and next-gen visuals for an upcoming AAA title.
What you'll do
Model and texture high-quality assets, high-poly and low-poly versions.
Deliver high-quality art assets and ensure their efficient integration in the game.
Build levels/environments using the set of assets created by the art team.
Be solution-oriented to possible problems encountered.
Contribute to foster a healthy teamwork environment.
Qualifications
What you'll bring
Strong modelling, UVing and texturing skills required.
Knowledge on maps creation (normal map, height map, ambient occlusion, curvature, cavity...)
Extensive knowledge of 2D and 3D image applications (3D Studio MAX, Photoshop, Zbrush and Mudbox) required.
Knowledge on the usage of PBR and on new texturing and material creation tools such as Quixel Suite or Substance package will be highly valued.
Proactivity & good organizational skills.
Good communication in English (verbal and written) and interpersonal skills.
Passion for video games and knowledge of video game industry terms.
Candidates must be in last year of university degree/master or recently graduated.
Plus:
Experience working with any real time engine or tool (Unreal, CryEngine, Unity, …)
Concept drawing.
Full time availability (35/40h per week).
