About the Role

We're looking for an enthusiastic Technical Support Engineer to join our growing End-user Services team. Your role manages service tickets, facilitating new hire onboarding, providing onsite technical support, deploying assets, maintaining AV systems, and offering support for live events, including our company-wide All Hands. You are someone who wants to contribute to the growth of our Enterprise Infrastructure and Operations organization while delivering excellent customer service with a friendly and diligent approach. You will report to the Senior Manager, End-user Services. This role is based in our San Francisco office and requires presence at least three times a week.

You Will:

  • Provide personalized technical support to our global Twitch employees related to IT and AV equipment.

  • Troubleshoot users issue related to network, access, software, and hardware

  • Manage our hardware assets through the entire lifecycle, including deployment, retrieval and secure disposal

  • Support teams on site events, including our weekly company All Hands broadcast and collaborate with team members for its successful delivery

  • Maintain and troubleshoot our conference room AV technology, Games Lab, printers, and other IT-related site equipment

  • Maintain our existing knowledge base and create new articles based on emerging workflows and systems

  • Identify blockers to users’ work efficiencies and recommend process improvement

You Have:

  • 4+ years experience working in an IT Support role that including Audio Video systems

  • Have broad knowledge of managing and troubleshooting personal devices such as Mac, Windows or Linux, in an enterprise environment.

  • Understand networking concepts such as DNS, DHCP, and TCP/IP protocols

  • Familiar with Google Meet, Zoom, Teams, Chime, vMix, Streamshark, and Cisco room systems

  • Familiar with Audio Video system configuration and administration

  • Exposure or some experience in scripting with Python, Bash, or PowerShell

  • An understanding and awareness of Security standards

Bonus Points

  • Advanced Windows, macOS or Linux systems administration skills/certification

  • Exposure to Google Workspaces, Slack, ServiceNow

  • AV industry certifications

  • Familiar with Twitch

Our compensation reflects the cost of labor across several US geographic markets. The base pay for this position ranges from our lowest geographic market up to our highest geographic market. Pay is based on a number of factors including market location and may vary depending on job-related knowledge, skills, and experience. Amazon is a total compensation company.
