THE CHALLENGE:

The VP of Marketing Innovation and Technology role is based in New York City and plays a critical part in leading and improving our Marketing Technology stack. The role emphasizes delivering significant value to our labels, under the umbrella of our parent company.

We work alongside the Label’s (2K, Zynga, Private Division and Rockstar Games) Marketing, Live-Services and CX teams, leading and supporting the underlying technology stack used to enhance Marketing capabilities and measurement, to improve Player experience.

The primary purpose of the role is to enable and further empower these teams to do what they do best – produce outstanding content and meaningfully engage players.

Working as part of the team, the right candidate must have a broad range of skills. The responsibilities include the ability to run the entire technology life cycle, from interpreting needs of the business (known or discovered) through implementation into support and evangelization. This role requires understanding of Marketing and Technology platforms, and experience in leading projects and programs, acting as the conduit between business leads and vendor

WHAT YOU’LL TAKE ON

Operational Excellence:

  • Coordinate the operational aspects including contract management, budgeting, security, and compliance of tools.

STRATEGY:

  • Ensure value from the capabilities developed in collaboration with our labels. Work closely with labels to create and implement prioritized roadmaps.

TEAM LEADERSHIP:

  • Lead a team of product managers (leader and individual contributors) who are aligned with various Marketing fields. The Product Management team is primarily based in NYC with additional members on the West Coast.

RELATIONSHIP MANAGEMENT:

  • Establish strategic relationships with Marketing, technology, and data leaders across the labels.

  • Develop relationships with Vendors and other supporting teams within Take-Two.

  • Define the features and benefits of technology solutions and ensure they are appropriately communicated to all project partner

INNOVATION AND VALUE GENERATION:

  • Develop roadmaps and multi-year plans, and manage from idea to implementation

  • Focus on operational management and innovation, with a strong emphasis on generating value.

  • Stay current with emerging technology and strategies used to support the customer experience and present findings on a regular basis. Empower beyond what is currently known or solved. Elevate our overall capability.

WHAT YOU BRING

  • 12-15 Years of practical experience developing and implementing solutions powered by technology, and leading teams that do so.

  • Tried experience in a similar role, preferably in the Technology, Marketing, or Interactive entertainment industry.

  • Experience managing managers.

  • Strong background in digital innovation.

  • Shown success within, and leading a Product Management organization.

  • Outstanding leadership and team management skills.

  • Ability to establish and maintain high-level relationships.

  • Ability to measure and communicate value production.

  • Practical experience of budgeting, contract management, and security in a tech environment.

  • Outstanding communication and social skills up to and including executive leadership.

  • Ability to establish strong relationship with demanding, no-nonsense business and project partners to ensure that business goals are met.

  • Experience in working with highly technical business partners identifying problem areas, bottlenecks, and resolving with scalable solutions.

  • Interpret business needs to solution requirements; handle scope, acceptance criteria, definition of done, etc. It is imperative to work beyond just order-taking, identifying critical needs and possible solutions, and have the ability to introduce and secure adoption of related ideas and plans.

  • Excellent communication and presentation skills spanning business and technical audiences.

The pay range for this position in New York City at the start of employment is expected to be between $230,000 and $290,000 per Year. However, base pay offered is based on market location, and may vary further depending on individualized factors for job candidates, such as job-related knowledge, skills, experience, and other objective business considerations. Subject to those same considerations, the total compensation package for this position may also include other elements, including a bonus and/or equity awards, in addition to a full range of medical, financial, and/or other benefits. Details of participation in these benefit plans will be provided if an employee receives an offer of employment. If hired, employee will be in an 'at-will position' and the company reserves the right to modify base salary (as well as any other discretionary payment or compensation or benefit program) at any time, including for reasons related to individual performance, company or individual department/team performance, and market factors.
