C++ Software Developer Intern

We are looking for an engineer who wants to join game development. Probably you just like playing games and want to understand how they are made inside. Or you want to participate in favorite game titles. Or you are looking for challenges in different areas and game development can give you that.

Responsibilities

Internship program in our company will give you:

• Improvement of your programming skills

  • Working on gameplay features

  • Programming AI for game characters

  • Extending toolset for artists

  • Understanding and tuning work of the game engine

• Live training with AAA games developers

  • Being part of the development team

  • Having clear roadmap of your training

  • Work closely with mentor and experts in team

• Familiarity with game industry from developer stand point

  • Organization of the development process

  • Task flows and complexity

• Friendly team and warm atmosphere

  • Big projects can't be done if people don’t help each other

  • We like to grow together as a team

• Remote work possibility

  • Depending on your wish and availability on the project

  • Hardware will be provided if required

Requirements

Ideal candidate should have:

• Practical knowledge in C++. This can be:

  • Work on your pet project. Individually or with friends.

  • GameJams, Hackathons, etc

  • Contribution to open-source projects

  • Commercial experience

• Ability to spend 30+ hours on weekdays working on the project

  • You will be a part of dev team, so you need to have time for discussions and work on tasks

  • Better if you are able to work at the same hours as your team do

  • If you need to have a few private hours to attend classes this might be ok

• Desire to make games and join Sperasoft after successful completion of Internship

  • We are not doing this for fun, we are looking for full-time engineers

  • Internship can help you understand if this is what you are looking for as a future job and collect required experience to join our company.

If you have something from this list, it will give you additional points:

• Knowledge of the C++11/14/17 standards are appreciated

• Practical experience in Unreal Engine

• Experience with game development

• Experience with rendering

• Portfolio of pet projects on Github/Gitlab/Bitbucket

• Passion for gaming
