As a Supervisor of Quality Assurance for the Expressions Area on VALORANT, you will be accountable for the execution of the VALORANT test strategy within multiple cross functional scrum teams. You will help shape and promote the vision of quality assurance across Riot, so that, "Gamers worldwide know that every experience they have with Riot will be a quality experience." You will report into the Quality Manager for the Expressions product area on VALORANT.

Responsibilities:

  • Guide and develop test approaches as a part of a larger product quality strategy

  • Manage QA efforts across multiple scrum teams with support from leadership

  • Be accountable for the efficiency and efficacy of QA for your product teams

  • Build, develop and maintain world-class QA talent

  • Manage QA individual contributors on your product teams

  • Partner with craft leaders to identify and resolve technical/operational problems

  • Support QA Department goals and objectives through team implementation

Required Qualifications:

  • 3+ years Quality Assurance Experience, with experience tasking teams and QA professionals.

  • Experience with test design, planning, and control

  • Experience with product development pipelines and workflows

  • Experience setting strategic goals for teams to execute

  • Experience working with remote testing teams

  • Defect database administration experience

Desired Qualifications:

  • Experience in agile work systems

  • Experience delivering GaaS on any platform

  • ISTQB Foundation Level

  • ISTQB Agile Tester or ICAgile Agile Testing (ICP-TST)

  • ISTQB Advanced Test Manager

  • Professional experience working on first-person shooters, or extensive engagement playing them
