Job Summary: We need a Backend Engineer who’s passionate about building performant APIs and managing complex database schemas. This role focuses on improving our Node.js backend and maintaining a robust PostgreSQL database.

Responsibilities:

• Design, implement, and maintain REST APIs using Node.js and Express.

• Optimize and maintain the PostgreSQL database schema and queries.

• Troubleshoot and debug database and API performance issues.

• Ensure data security and integrity across the platform.

Requirements:

• 3+ years of experience with backend development (Node.js, Express).

• Strong knowledge of SQL/PostgreSQL database design and optimization.

• Proficiency in TypeScript for backend development.

• Familiarity with database migration tools (e.g., Prisma, Knex, or custom DBCs).

• An understanding of Esports, specifically VALORANT is essential

Nice to Have:

• Understanding of data caching solutions (Redis, etc.).

• Experience implementing monitoring and logging tools.
