Job Responsibilities :
This role is to manage Razer Gold business - Rixty US and Razer Gold Korea on GL and Financial Reporting, including support financial close, reconciliations, reporting, audits, tax and regulatory compliance, and process improvement.Job Responsibilities
- Support financial close activities and ensure timely and accurate recording of financial transactions.
- Prepare journal entries, account reconciliations, and supporting schedules in accordance with company policies and accounting standards.
- Assist in the preparation of management accounts, financial reports, and financial analysis.
- Perform reconciliations of balance sheet accounts, including bank accounts, accruals, prepayments, fixed assets, and intercompany balances.
- Maintain the integrity and accuracy of accounting records and financial data.
- Support statutory reporting requirements, including the preparation of financial statements, audit schedules, and supporting documentation.
- Assist with internal and external audit requests and coordinate with auditors as required.
- Support tax compliance activities, including GST/VAT, withholding tax, and corporate tax matters where applicable.
- Assist in regulatory reporting and compliance activities to ensure adherence to applicable regulatory requirements.
- Liaise with internal and external stakeholders to support reporting, audit, compliance, and business requirements.
- Maintain proper documentation and filing of accounting and statutory records.
- Support process improvement, automation, and system enhancement initiatives.
- Perform ad-hoc assignments and projects as assigned by management.
Pre-Requisites :
Education & Professional Qualifications
- Bachelor's Degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related discipline.
- Professional accounting qualification (e.g., ACCA, CPA, ICAEW, CA, or equivalent) would be advantageous.
Experience
- Prior experience in accounting, financial reporting, or Record-to-Report (R2R) functions would be advantageous.
- Exposure to financial close activities, account reconciliations, and general ledger accounting is preferred.
- Hands-on experience using SAP in a finance and accounting environment is highly preferred.
- Exposure to multinational corporations, shared services environments, or regional finance operations would be an advantage.
- Experience supporting multiple legal entities would be an advantage.
- Prior audit experience would be an added advantage.
