Job Responsibilities :
The ideal candidate will play a key role in driving product strategy, planning, and execution. This role involves collaborating closely with cross-functional teams, including engineering, business, operations, sales, and customer support, to deliver high-quality products that align with business objectives and customer needs.Key responsibilities include defining product requirements and roadmaps, managing the product lifecycle from ideation to launch, coordinating cross-functional project execution, prioritizing product enhancements, gathering and analyzing customer and market feedback, and ensuring successful product delivery while continuously improving product performance and user experience.Essential Duties and Responsibilities
Strategy & Roadmap
- Own product strategy and roadmap for payment solutions (Payment Gateway, Payouts, B2B/B2C Transfers, P2P, Collections, Recurring Payments, Card Acceptance, Digital Wallets, API/developer platform).
- Conduct market, competitor, and customer research including emerging trends like embedded finance and cross-border payments to shape the roadmap and identify new opportunities.
- Identify and scope AI/automation use cases (e.g., fraud detection, KYC/onboarding, customer support) with clear business impact.
- Drive go-to-market execution with Sales and Marketing: positioning, pricing, launch, and customer enablement.
Delivery & Execution
- Own the end-to-end product lifecycle: ideation, business case, requirements, design, build, testing, launch, and optimization.
- Prepare PRDs, user stories, and process flows; drive backlog prioritization and release planning.
- Define and monitor product KPIs (transactions, adoption, reliability, revenue) and act on operational gaps and risks.
Compliance & Risk
- Ensure products comply with regional/country regulations (AML/CFT, PCI DSS) and card scheme rules (Visa, Mastercard, and local networks).
- Partner with Compliance and Risk teams early in the lifecycle to design compliant solutions.
Stakeholder & Partner Management
- Partner cross-functionally (Engineering, Data Science/ML, Ops, Compliance, Risk, Sales, BD, Support) to deliver high-quality products.
- Build relationships with banking partners, payment schemes, regulators, and tech/payment vendors; manage ongoing vendor communication.
- Communicate roadmap, progress, risks, and delivery status to management and stakeholders.
Team & Culture
- Mentor junior team members and foster a culture of innovation and continuous improvement.
- Perform other duties as assigned.
- Bachelor's degree in Business, Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
- 5+ years of product management experience, with at least 2–3 years in payments, fintech, or financial services.
- Proven track record owning the end-to-end product lifecycle, from discovery to launch and post-launch optimization.
- Working knowledge of payment infrastructure, Payout, card schemes, and digital payment methods (gateways, wallets, transfers, or acquiring).
- Familiarity with regional financial regulations and compliance frameworks (e.g., AML/CFT, PCI DSS, KYC).
- Skilled in product documentation PRDs, BRDs, user stories, and process flows.
- Excellent stakeholder management and communication skills, able to work across Engineering, Compliance, Risk, Sales, and Operations.
- Comfortable operating in a fast-paced environment with shifting priorities and multiple concurrent workstreams.
- Familiarity with agile/scrum methodologies and product management tools.
