Project Manager

San Mateo (hybrid) San Diego (hybrid) Remote (ok) *Pac time zone core hours

This position is for a contract engagement through our staffing partner DZConneX (Yoh Services).

Position Overview: We are seeking an expert Change Management Project Manager to join our team in implementing and iterating continuous improvements on our HRSD Service Now product. In this role, you will be responsible for developing and completing effective change management strategies and activities to ensure successful adoption and integration of HRSD Service Now within the organization. You will collaborate closely with cross-functional teams, customers, and end-users to lead change, mitigate resistance, and amplify the benefits of the HRSD Service Now project.

Responsibilities:

Change Management Strategy:

  • Develop and implement a comprehensive change management strategy aligned with the goals and objectives of the HRSD Service Now project.

  • Define the scope of change and identify key customers, impacted groups, and change readiness factors.

  • Conduct impact assessments to evaluate the organizational, process, and people-related changes associated with the HRSD Service Now implementation.

  • Anticipate potential gaps and develop proactive risk mitigation plans

  • Scale change management strategy based on impact and value

Change Planning and Execution:

  • Create and execute detailed change management plans, including communication strategies, training programs, and customer engagement activities.

  • Advise and collaborate with project teams to integrate change management activities into the project plan and ensure alignment with project milestones and deliverables.

  • Organize and facilitate change management workshops, meetings, and training sessions to drive awareness, engagement, and adoption of HRSD Service Now.

Customer Engagement:

  • Identify and engage key customers across various levels of the organization, including executives, managers, and end-users.

  • Build and maintain strong relationships with customers, understanding their concerns, and addressing their needs throughout the change process.

  • Promote a culture of collaboration, open communication, and continuous feedback to encourage customer support and involvement.

Communication and Training:

  • Create and implement communication plans to ensure timely and effective dissemination of project updates, benefits, and progress.

  • Design and deliver training programs, materials, and resources to equip end-users with the knowledge and skills required to use HRSD Service Now optimally.

  • Provide ongoing support and guidance to end-users, addressing their questions, concerns, and issues related to HRSD Service Now.

Change Measurement and Evaluation:

  • Define and build reports to illustrate key performance indicators (KPIs) and metrics to measure the effectiveness and success of change management initiatives.

  • Conduct regular assessments and evaluations to monitor the adoption, utilization, and satisfaction levels of HRSD Service Now within the organization.

  • Analyze feedback and data to identify areas for improvement and implement corrective actions, as necessary.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in business administration, organizational psychology, or a related field. A relevant master's degree is a plus.

  • Proven experience as a change management professional, preferably in HRSD Service Now or IT service management projects.

  • Strong understanding of change management principles, methodologies, and best practices.

  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to influence and engage customers at all levels.

  • Demonstrated experience in developing and executing change management strategies and plans.

  • Ability to facilitate group discussions, workshops, and training sessions.

  • Analytical approach with the ability to assess the impact of change and develop mitigation strategies.

  • Familiarity with technical product implementation, specifically HRSD Service Now, Employee Service Center, Knowledge Management or other IT service management tools is strongly preferred.

  • Relevant certifications in change management (e.g., Prosci, CCMP), and/or a project management methodology (e.g., PMP, PMI-ACP, CSM) are highly desirable.

  • Flexibility and comfort with shifting priorities and quick turnarounds.

  • Self starter comfortable navigating ambiguity.

  • Passion for not only learning new technologies and tools, but cascading that knowledge through the change management plan.

This is a flexible role that can be remote, with varying pay ranges based on geographic location. For example, if you are based out of Seattle, the estimated base pay range for this role is listed below, this is an hourly rate.
