Senior 2D Animator

About the role

We're looking for an experienced 2D animator for our flagship projects loved by people all over the world.

In this position, you'll be able to work alongside gaming industry professionals and implement your ideas on games with a multi-million audience.  This is a great chance to gain work experience as part of a successful international project and replenish your portfolio. 

Responsibilities

• Shaping a cohesive animation vision for the project.

• Creating idle and active character animations (humans and animals) using Spine and AI-powered animation tools.

• Optimizing animations to maintain a balance between visual quality, file size, and performance.

Requirements

• 4+ years of experience as a 2D Character Animator.

• Proficiency in Spine, AI-powered animation tools and Adobe Photoshop.

• Understanding of animation principles and the ability to apply them.

• An animation portfolio is required.

• Excellent eye for movement, shape, color, and how to put it all together.

• Ability to guide the viewer’s attention and create the right focus in animations.

• High level of independence in tasks and technical aspects.

• Desire and ability to solve complex animation problems.

• Fluent in Russian.
