The Opportunity:

We're seeking a freelance 3D editor who is passionate about esports and possesses a strong proficiency in creating visually stunning 3D content. The ideal candidate will have a deep passion for and extensive knowledge of gaming and gaming culture, understanding the nuances and trends that resonate with gaming enthusiasts. Additionally, they should have experience in producing high-quality animations and visual effects tailored specifically for event promotions. This position offers the flexibility to work remotely and collaborate closely with our team to ensure the successful execution of the project.

Responsibilities:

Collaborate with the creative team to understand the vision and objectives of the event video.
Develop engaging 3D animations and visual effects that enhance the overall promotional content.
Incorporate feedback and revisions into the 3D assets to ensure they align with the event's theme and branding.
Optimize 3D assets for use in promotional materials across various platforms and formats.
Maintain open communication with the project manager and team members to provide updates on progress and address any concerns or adjustments needed.

Requirements:

Knowledge of esports, gaming, and gaming culture, with a passion for creating content that resonates with the audience.
2+ years of experience in 3D Editing and Animation.
Proficiency in 3D modeling, animation, and rendering software such as Blender, Maya, or Cinema 4D.
Strong portfolio showcasing previous work in 3D animation and visual effects, with an emphasis on event promotions or similar projects.
Excellent communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to work effectively in a remote team environment.
Ability to manage time efficiently and meet project deadlines while maintaining a high standard of quality.

Preferred Qualifications:

Experience working on promotional materials for esports events or similar live entertainment productions.
Familiarity with video editing software such as Adobe Premiere Pro or Final Cut Pro.
Understanding of motion graphics and typography principles to enhance the visual appeal of promotional videos.
Knowledge of 3D projection mapping techniques for live event applications.

Contract Details:

This is a freelance, independent contractor position.
The contract duration is for the duration of the project, with the possibility of future collaboration on additional events.
Compensation will be discussed based on the candidate's experience and the scope of the project.
The candidate will work remotely and must have access to their own computer and software.
