We’re looking for a motivated, versatile accountant with excellent skills and a willingness to learn and grow with the team. Are you highly organized? Can you maintain balance sheets? Are you familiar with the preparation of statistical reports for multiple companies? Can you meet a deadline one minute and turn around and solve a problem the next? Then keep reading. This might be the job for you.

In this role you will

  • Record daily transactions in accounting – such as purchase invoices, bank statements, payments, and reimbursements for different companies – according to accounting policies and standards in an accurate and timely manner.

  • Prepare statistical reports.

  • Prepare and submit VIES and VAT.

  • Assist in the preparation of monthly accounting reports.

  • Provide support for the annual audit.

  • Maintain and reconcile balance sheets and general ledger accounts (banks, intercompany, suppliers, customers, etc.).

  • Maintain historical records by filing documents.

What we’re looking for

  • Motivated team player with good accounting knowledge who is as willing to learn as they are to help.

  • Verbal and written communication skills, with fluency in English language.

  • Delivery-driven person who respects deadlines and is capable of working under pressure.

  • Self-motivated and proactive working style.

Your experience

  • 2 years of experience working in accounting.

  • Excellent accounting knowledge (completed Faculty of Economics, finance and accounting).

  • Active fluency in English and Slovene.

Compensation

Compensation will be constructed of a salary and participation in the reward plan.
