This is a high-functioning role focused on providing high-quality experiences for developers releasing AAA content. Working on large, complex projects developed on cutting-edge VR hardware is an opportunity this role offers. In addition to the above, this role will involve working with a variety of external QA partners focused on optimizing the QA process for VR quality.

Content Operations - Studios QA Manager Responsibilities

  • Work directly with our development teams from Pre-Alpha to launch, delivering high-quality functional releases

  • Drive improvements in game testing processes, documentation, and cross-functional collaboration

  • Manage our external QA vendors to drive titles through our QA program

  • Work cross-functionally with multiple internal groups (marketing, comms, software, hardware, content)

  • Hold cross functional partners accountable to QA processes

  • Regularly communicate updates to project stakeholders, both internal and external

  • Attend weekly QA calls and project risk meetings, surfacing information to stakeholders with enough time to take action

  • Update data tracking tools with the latest project information

Minimum Qualifications

  • 5+ years of QA Project Management in VR, console, or PC video games

  • 5+ years working with external vendors or remote teams

  • Understanding of the game production life cycle, tools, process and execution planning

  • Experience with Compliance and Certification testing

  • Experience with end-to-end game QA workflows and processes

  • Familiar with multiple bug tracking databases and test case management tools

  • Effective communication skills across all levels of an organization

  • Interest and familiarity with multiple genres of PC and/or console games

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience shipping AAA titles on console or PC

  • Experience scaling QA teams and operations

  • Platform QA and new hardware development experience

  • Experience with tools like Salesforce or data management tools

$101,000/year to $152,000/year + bonus + equity + benefits

Individual pay is determined by skills, qualifications, experience, and location.
