We are looking for an energetic, forward-thinking Senior Director of Service Supply Planning to become part of our Service OPS team leading the way in high-tech innovation. This senior role combines comprehensive global supply chain management with extensive knowledge in service and aftermarket parts planning. As a key collaborator with senior leadership, you will promote service operations excellence throughout a global network, guaranteeing our organization fulfills customer demands with accuracy and flexibility. In this pivotal role, you will own and elevate our Service S&OP process, integrating demand, materials, capacity, and repair cycles into actionable commitments. You will chair regular executive & cross-functional reviews, providing insights and mentorship to improve results. Leading a high-performing team, you will bring to bear your proficiency in complex planning architectures to increase customer service levels, equipment uptime, repair capacity utilization, and “new” inventory investments.

What you'll be doing:

  • Coordinate the global Service Operations S&OP process, synchronizing repair lifecycles, failure rates, and customer requirements with manufacturing and supply chain strategies.

  • Champion organizational development and capability building, scaling a resilient planning team that supports our rapid growth and evolving service model.

  • Work closely with Demand Planning, Sales Operations, and Revenue Supply Planning to align finished goods and aftermarket service requirements, balancing long-term capacity with immediate service needs.

  • Serve as the primary cross-functional bridge, uniting Field Service, Logistics, Repair OPS, Business Operations, Finance, and external partners to drive unified business outcomes.

  • Develop and track important metrics such as supplier forecast accuracy, allocation fill rate, timely supply, capacity utilization, inventory turns, and their direct impact on revenue and customer happiness.

  • Lead the way in developing and implementing proactive supply risk frameworks, navigating global trade policies, export regulations, and supply resilience in a volatile world.

  • Architect, automate, and continuously improve service supply planning infrastructure, ensuring scalable, agile responses to new product introductions, EOL transitions, and global expansion.

  • Direct global deployment and optimization of spare parts inventory, maintaining continuity across the product lifecycle and improving asset utilization.

  • Expand and manage relationships with contract manufacturers, cross functional teams and repair hubs to ensure world-class reverse logistics and repair capacity.

What we need to see:

  • Over 18 overall years of advancing global supply chain and service planning leadership experience in complex, high-technology, and fast-moving settings, demonstrating success in semiconductor, AI infrastructure, networking, or associated fields. 10+ years of mgmt. experience.

  • Deep S&OP expertise: forecasting, capacity planning, supply allocation, and inventory optimization at scale, with demonstrated success in Fortune 500 or similarly complex organizations.

  • Outstanding cross-functional leadership, encouraging a culture of collaboration, accountability, and professional growth across dispersed and multidisciplinary teams.

  • Advanced analytical and financial skills, connecting supply chain performance to business impact and driving fact-based decision making.

  • Strong business insight and technical proficiency in advanced planning systems (e.g., SAP IBP), analytics, and industry-standard methodologies (APICS, Lean Six Sigma).

  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience in supply chain, planning & business operations, or related field required; advanced degree (MS, MBA) preferred.

Ways to stand out from the crowd:

  • Experience optimizing service and repair supply planning for innovative accelerator products, especially in environments characterized by rapid ramp-ups and frequent product transitions.

  • Demonstrated ability to improve output within capacity constraints and to foster an environment where teams thrive and achieve their best work.

  • Proven flexibility and comfort with detail, able to communicate complex implications to executive audiences extemporaneously.

  • Track record of leading supply planning through major manufacturing ramps, global diversification, and regulatory complexity.
