Tasks
- Supporting the preparation of the German corporate income tax and trade tax returns and taking ownership of the tax compliance process for smaller permanent establishments in UK , Switzerland, and Austria
- Preparing and managing monthly IFRS tax reporting for Germany, Austria, Switzerland, and the UK and reviewing the tax provisions and tax calculations for other foreign permanent establishments and coordinating with local finance teams
- Preparing and submitting German withholding tax filings and related tax compliance obligations
- Supporting domestic and international tax audits, including managing information requests from tax authorities
- Assisting with tax projects, tax technical analyses, and the implementation of tax law changes
- Liaising with external advisors, auditors, and internal stakeholders on tax-related matters
- Contributing to the continuous improvement and standardization of tax processes and controls
Requirements
- University degree in Business Administration, Economics, Finance, Taxation, Law, or a comparable field
- Several years of professional experience in corporate taxation, ideally gained with a Big Four accounting firm, a multinational corporation, or a comparable international environment
- Professional experience acquired abroad and exposure to different tax jurisdictions would be considered an advantage
- Strong understanding of international corporate tax law and tax compliance processes
- Ability to work independently while collaborating effectively within an international team environment
- High level of commitment, reliability, and ownership
- Strong analytical, organizational, and communication skills
- Fluent written and spoken English skills
- Strong MS Office skills, particularly Excel
- Experience with SAP is considered a plus
- Ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment
