DESCRIPTION OF DUTIES:

  • Responsible for the design of research studies that address business issues, gain insights into target audiences and develop new features and experiences that drives engagement.

  • Evaluate consumer insights and partner with UX, data and development team to build proof of concept improvements and deliver meaningful personalized experiences to users.

  • Collaborate with internal teams to share our key personalization priorities and unify audience segmentation and content consistent messaging across channels (web, email, social, etc.)

  • Execute a continuous improvement process to ensure that insights are incorporated into the different product backlogs on an incremental basis.

  • Monitor design, digital and ecommerce trends. Apply findings to experience design concepts in order to maximize the value for the consumer and for the company.

  • Map customer feedback and behavior to customer journey to identify pain points. Work with team to create segmentations for execution of personalization

  • Partner with our optimization and web analytics team to test hypotheses designed to improve our ability to recommend the best content to users

  • Be the subject matter expert on our recommendations and push our thinking forward about personalization strategies.

  • Serve as an internal expert in digital, innovation, emerging technology and new business models, conduct extensive research, and analyze trends/results to uncover insights in order drive strategic priorities.

  • Working with other data teams across Nintendo to identify and analyze data sources that can improve our understanding of customer satisfaction and business performance.

  • Identify, triage and resolve issues reported by consumers through partnerships with UX lead and QA teams.

SUMMARY OF REQUIREMENTS:

  • Five (5) or more years of demonstrated experience designing research studies, including hypothesizing issues in order to plan, conduct and analyze (surveys, prototype evaluation, usability testing, etc.). Experience with VOC studies/surveys a plus.

  • Experience building and managing consumer facing digital experiences across all platforms and device types to achieve business results

  • Excellent communication skill and teamwork, and ability to logically sequence and package findings from data and socialize with partner teams.

  • Must have attention to detail, problem solving skills and desire to create a better user experience for consumers.

  • Knowledgeable of the latest trends in data and personalization technologies.

  • Experience with Foresee, Qualtrics, similar voice of customer reporting technology.

  • Knowledge of Adobe Analytics or Google Analytics a plus.

  • Undergraduate degree in a related field or equivalent or, unrelated undergraduate degree with relevant work experience that shows a progression of scope and responsibilities

This position is hybrid in Redmond, WA. Hybrid positions require regular onsite work following the schedule and guidelines for their division. This position is not open to fully remote status at this time.

This position includes a base salary range of $114,125 - $171,187 annually, potential for a semi-annual discretionary performance bonus, and a comprehensive benefits package that includes medical, dental, vision, 401(k), and paid time off.
