The Digital Marketing department brings together a wide range of disciplines, all focused on delivering a world-class customer experience across Nintendo of America’s digital channels and beyond. Together, the department creates digital experiences that speak directly to Nintendo fans (and future fans) through online advertising, web marketing, email marketing, loyalty programs, eCommerce solutions, on-device news, and much more. Our goal is to meet consumers wherever and however they choose to interact with content, across multiple screens and devices, spanning the entire customer journey. Our marketing efforts are designed to build long-lasting relationships, ultimately contributing to the growth of Nintendo’s business—and bringing smiles to more people throughout the NOA region.

DESCRIPTION OF DUTIES:

  • Supports online merchandising and operations initiatives across US, Canada, and LATAM by managing the promotional content creation process, analyzing metrics, and providing strategic merchandising recommendations.

  • Manage promotional content creation process, requesting and overseeing contributions from copywriters, designers, and developers, and routing content for review and approval

  • Produce and analyze site metrics to measure customer behavior and efficacy of content

  • Contribute merchandising tactics to campaign plans and actively participate in activation team discussions

  • Leverage data to test and develop effective merchandising strategy and recommendations

  • Provide recommendations and own creation of new site content to support marketing campaigns

  • Support 3rd Party developers by providing strategic recommendations for merchandising placements

  • Organize and support content for our Canada & Latin American regions, collaborating with the individual regions to determine merchandising needs and manage site updates as needed

  • Update & maintain merchandising content on Nintendo.com via content management system

  • Route promotional content to internal and external stakeholders and manage revision requests

  • Provide general asset and copy coordination, support and organization.

  • Perform content QA passes on all merchandising updates

  • Provide general support such as data entry and transcribing and emailing notes during team meetings

SUMMARY OF REQUIREMENTS:

  • 3+ years of experience in web marketing and/or online content development

  • Familiarity with bug tracking tools

  • Experience using data analysis and metrics reporting tools

  • Experience working within Content Management systems

  • Proactive and detail-oriented, highly organized

  • Understanding of Project Management methodologies

  • Flexibility to adapt to demands as they arise; think strategically and act tactically.

  • PC skills required (Word, Excel and PowerPoint)

  • Experience with image manipulation and design software, including Adobe Photoshop

  • Knowledge of Nintendo products highly preferred

  • Strong writing and editing skills a plus

  • Experience with localization process a plus

  • Undergraduate degree in a related field or equivalent professional experience

This contract position has a base pay range of $33 - $48 per hour and is eligible for benefits through the employing agency. Agency benefits may include medical, dental and vision, 401(k), basic/supplemental life and AD&D insurance, short- and long-term disability insurance, health and dependent care spending accounts, transportation benefits, employee assistance program, paid sick leave, and up to 6 paid holidays per year. All benefits are subject to elections, eligibility requirements, plan and program terms. Benefits offerings will be confirmed at the time of offer by the employing agency and may differ depending on the employing agency partner.

This position is hybrid in Redmond, WA. Hybrid positions require regular onsite work following the schedule and guidelines for their division. This position is not open to fully remote status at this time.
