Job Purpose

We are looking for Social Media Manager to join us in creating Star Wars™: Hunters, a competitive arena combat game for the Nintendo Switch system and mobile devices. Star Wars: Hunters will bring players together to engage in thrilling, team-based, multiplayer battles featuring a diverse array of distinctive new Star Wars characters.

As part of the Zynga Go-to-Market team, you will drive excellence across the social platforms. You will be an expert in the holistic and dynamic landscape of social media channels, strategies, emerging platforms, and audiences within those channels and be able to drive forward game specific roadmaps that include channel strategy, content strategy, and technology platforms and tools.

Key Roles & Responsibilities

  • Be the central lead for all social media for Star Wars: Hunters

  • Execute and own the social media marketing strategy and ensure cross functional social media support for projects across the Go-to-Market team

  • Build, execute and maintain player messaging and engagement strategies and campaigns on relevant platforms

  • Plan and execute growing channel audiences across social media platforms

  • Plan and execute multi-channel campaigns and initiatives both with internal teams and external partners.

  • Oversee the approval process for all campaigns, initiatives and assets including stakeholder management

  • Create and present campaign and channel performance reports to key stakeholders

  • Monitor competitor activity and social trends and incorporate findings into planned campaigns and initiatives

  • Work closely with the wider Marketing team to ensure consistent and impactful campaign execution

Required Skills & Experience

  • Experience in social media and community management, on multiple projects and leading new launches

  • Data-driven and goal-oriented, seeking and delivering on growth, advocacy and engagement

  • Skilled in navigating matrix organizations, partnering with cross functional marketers and other internal disciplines, e.g. game teams

  • Experienced at assessing, onboarding and managing external partners and vendors

  • Excellent communicator, able to secure buy-in from peers and senior management with equal success

  • Experience in moderating community discussions with large active communities, including creation of style guides, tone, response strategies

  • Effective time management and exceptional project management skills
