We are looking for intelligent, creative, and passionate esports coaches who are excited to work with young esports athletes and want to make a career out of esports coaching. We are currently looking for League of Legends, Fortnite, and Rocket League coaches only.

Qualifications and Responsibilities

Qualified applicants should have a bachelor's degree. Professional competitive gaming experience and/or esport coaching experience preferred. Current player ranking in selected gaming title(s) and knowledge of relevant strategies, tactics, and meta-knowledge of competitive play. Experience working with youth ideal. A commitment to the values, standards, and expectations of the N1 Athletics organization. Applicants must be legally eligible to work in the United States.

Our coaches are responsible for training our youth athletes, including, but not limited to:

Prepping for and leading training sessions
Leading physical fitness and mental wellness exercises
Coaching during weekend matches, tournaments, and competitions depending on programs involved
Developing game and life skills among young athletes
Serving as an advisor to parents around topics in esports, teamwork, and competition

Professional Skills

Excellent oral, interpersonal, and written communication skills
Leadership and team-building skills
Ability to establish and maintain expectations for conduct and behavior of athletes and teams.
Demonstrated commitment to diversity and inclusion, and to helping others work beyond stereotypes
Ability to work independently and cooperatively
Ability to positively influence public relations between N1, the athletes, and the community
Other skills required include the following:

Ability to quickly build and maintain key relationships with athletes and parents
Highly adaptable, quick learner with excellent organizational skills
