Monomi Park is seeking a talented Marketing Artist to join our team!

Monomi Park is located in sunny San Mateo, CA, but we're open to US-based remote candidates in most states. We are the creators of Slime Rancher and Slime Rancher 2, both critical and commercial successes and among Steam's highest rated indie games.

About the Position

Monomi Park is looking for an experienced Marketing Artist to join our team to help build our artistic marketing presence. As a core member of the Marketing team you will create a variety of assets with a focus on illustrated elements such as designs for team merchandise and external partners, and game capture which includes gif animations and screenshots for advertisements, social posts, and other promotional materials. An eye for graphic design and composition is a must, and skills in traditional artistic mediums are a huge plus. Efficient organization will be required for continual upkeep of our art repository, to serve the needs of the wider art team and marketing initiatives.

XP Required:

  • 3+ years of experience in the games industry or equivalent.

  • Up-to-date portfolio with examples showing a wide range of stylistic ability.

General Skills:

  • Experience collaborating with a large team with several stakeholders.

  • Good with task flexibility and pivoting with art assignments as needed.

Creative & Technical Skills:

  • Strong traditional art and graphic design skills with the ability to match Slime Rancher 2's visual style.

  • Expert level with Photoshop and Illustrator.

  • A sharp eye for capturing dynamic and multi-layered screenshots and footage from our game.

  • A familiarity with Unity at minimum, with the ability to learn new tools and grow technological skills.

  • Ability to gain proficiency in proprietary tooling to showcase new features.

Soft Skills:

  • Excellent empathetic communication style, organizational and problem solving skills.

  • Great at taking and asking for constructive feedback.

Bonus Points For:

  • Coming in with a sold understanding of the Slime Rancher aesthetic, including its world and characters.

For local San Francisco Bay Area candidates at the Marketing Artist level, the starting base pay salary range is $80,000 - $90,000 + target annual bonus. The final base pay may vary further depending on individualized factors for job candidates, such as candidate location, job-related knowledge, skills and level of experience.

For local San Francisco Bay Area candidates at the Sr. Marketing Artist level, the starting base pay salary range is $100,000 - $115,000 + target annual bonus. The final base pay may vary further depending on individualized factors for job candidates, such as candidate location, job-related knowledge, skills and level of experience.
