We are looking for an experienced leader who is passionate about driving software and game quality to help lead our software products. Development Directors are accountable for defining and delivering the Strategic Planning and Operational Vision.

This role requires you to work onsite from Bogotá, Colombia (Salitre area).

Responsibilities

  • Manage operational aspects of project planning in all development stages from pre-pro, production, launch, and live.

  • Use a data-driven approach to contribute to product quality and project efficiency; effective at understanding dashboards and measurements to guide decision-making.

  • Collaborate across a diverse group of project leaders and development partners across multiple locations globally.

  • Align partners towards the outlined goals and guide your team to achieve milestones at quality.

  • Change management, viewing challenges as opportunities to implement strategic enhancements.

  • Identify resourcing requirements, guide and cultivate changes to talent, skills, and practices to achieve operational and strategic objectives.

  • Manage performance and conduct annual reviews together with peers and management.

  • Supervise the professional growth of team members, set objectives based on their personal development plans, and organize individual meetings.

  • Monitor and develop the talent skills, utilizing training and proactive recruitment strategies.

  • Provide mentorship and support to other leaders with diverse teams; build and mentor teams.

  • Advocate for a culture of diversity and inclusion, fostering an environment that encourages creativity and teamwork.

Qualifications

  • 5+ years of experience in a software development environment, production life cycle, tools, processes and execution planning.

  • 4+ years of experience in people and project management in an Agile framework.

  • 4+ years of experience in Quality Assurance (including test strategy, implementing test methodologies, test automation, driving best practices, building teams, finding and providing solutions).

  • Experienced with financial management, budget tracking, cost estimates and constraints.

  • Experience working within a collaborative team environment across many locations/time zones.
