We are seeking a dynamic and creative individual to join our team as a Fortnite (UEFN) Developer, Jewish & Israel Games. In this role, you will be responsible for designing, developing, and maintaining Lost Tribe’s UEFN creations. You will work alongside internal and external teams to create and deliver fun and seamless experiences for our players. The ideal candidate will have a deep understanding of game development and Fortnite gameplay mechanics.

Key Responsibilities:

Design and build custom maps, objects, structures, and game modes using UEFN, UE5, and third-party tools.
Work closely with a broader team to align map functionality and aesthetics with project goals.
Implement custom game mechanics and modes through scripting and programming.
Test and debug maps and game modes to ensure optimal performance and functionality.
Stay current with the latest updates and features in Unreal Engine, Fortnite Creative, and Fortnite to enhance maps and gameplay.
Develop well-documented, efficient, and maintainable code/project files.

Qualifications:

Deep understanding of the Unreal Engine. Expert understanding of gameplay mechanics, object material textures/nodes, and character animation/ motion capture.
Experience building Fortnite Creative Maps or gaming experiences. Playing Fortnite and its Creative Modes.
Strong proficiency with Unreal Engine; familiarity with industry-standard software packages, such as Photoshop or Illustrator, Jira, and Confluence, Blender, etc.
Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
A deep passion for Fortnite, with a clear understanding of what makes these games fun and engaging for different player demographics.
Ability to think outside the box and design imaginative, fun, and challenging game modes and experiences.

Nice to Have:

Familiarity with industry-standard software packages, such as Photoshop or Illustrator, Jira, and Confluence, Blender, etc.
Knowledge of gaming, content creation, and online trends.
Bachelor's degree in game design, Computer Science or equivalent experience.
