Job Overview: 

·       The Role:

The Sales Engineer role at Logitech is focused on engaging with customers and partners early in the process, involves helping account/channel managers, customers and partners understand the value proposition of Logitech for business solutions, establishing the brand as the preferred choice through strategic design.

This role involves providing deep technical sales knowledge to enable the market to determine and drive Logitech for business and growth with current and potential end-user customers.

The Presales engineer will work closely with VARs, MSPs, and alliance partners to build relationships and influence key decision makers. The role will focus on supporting the sales process from a technical perspective to drive sustained growth for all key categories.

Occasionally, the role involves resolving technical issues to maintain high customer satisfaction for key accounts.

Your Contribution:

  • Be responsible for product demonstrations of Logitech solutions. - Work with the local Enterprise Account Manager & Channel Account managers to help them achieve their goals. - Manage all aspects of pre-sales, including preparing scopes of work for proofs of concept, conducting demos, and responding to tenders or RFPs in collaboration with other stakeholders.
  • Collaborate with customers and partners to create tailored video collaboration, personal workspace & software solutions, integrating necessary hardware and software. Including knowledge transfer and training.
  • Support enterprise account managers in end customer technical discussion and partners in pre-sales by addressing technical inquiries and concerns.
  • Provide comprehensive knowledge of video collaboration, personal workspace products & software solutions through detailed demonstrations, POC, hands on training sessions, and presentations.
  • Provide technical knowledge and present technical aspects of solutions during sales presentations to partners and potential customers via onsite and video conferencing.
    Conduct quarterly webinars for our partners with regional counterparts for Technical Channels Academy
  • Conduct on-site technical hands on bootcamp for partners as well as Pre-sales enablement training for new & existing partners.
  • Lead discussions on VCaaS/cloud services interoperability and compatibility, particularly with Google, Teams, and Zoom.
  • Lead discussions on competitor analysis and able to position Logitech strategically.
  • Develop partner engagements for driving the sales, deployment, and adoption of total solution of Logitech VC, Personal Workspace and Software solutions.
  • Be a team player and work closely with internal and external to drive success. Ability to work independently & adapt in a fast-paced environment.
  • Communicate with sales teams, management and product development on competition & product enhancements.
  • The ability to work with customers, in a limited post sales role to help sales teams maintain key customer satisfaction is also critical.
  • Be able to remotely support, collaborate, guide, update presales based in Indonesia and Thailand
  • Maintaining and upkeep in country demo equipment and demo room facilities to be ready for action.


Your Qualifications and Skills:

·       5-7 years minimum technical experience, including 5 years in AV, UC or VC Environments.

·       Tertiary qualifications in a related field.

  • Strong understanding of video collaboration technologies, personal collaboration devices including detailed knowledge of hardware and software components.
  • Strong understanding in Teams, ZOOM, Google Meet, preferred.
  • Proficient in integrating complex solutions and understanding IT networks and cybersecurity.
  • Demonstrated strategic thinking in business, product, and technical challenges.
  • Exceptional communication skills, capable of engaging with both technical and non-technical audiences.
  • Proven ability to collaborate effectively with both internal teams and external partners.
  • Basic knowledge of network troubleshooting. - Knowledge of H.323 / SIP-based VC endpoints is advantageous. - Excellent presentation and communication skills.
  • Ability to build strategic relationships with both customers and partners.
  • Familiarity with VC Hardware solutions like Logitech, Cisco, Poly, Crestron, Huddly, Extron, QSC is an added advantage.
  • Knowledge of conference room design and maintenance.
  • Understanding of current trends and best technical practices in the Unified Communications and Collaborations industry.
  • Fluent in English, with additional language skills being a plus.

  • Hands on experience in debugging, failure analysis and functional verification of modular components (video conferencing, camera, speaker, microphone, software) is a plus.
  • Familiarity with AV Devices like switchers, audio DSP, displays, cables, connectors, mixers, etc is a plus.
  • Ability to travel > 50% to partner & customer locations, including overseas when required
