What is a Senior Programmer? Do you have the title but have not been given the responsibility and development that goes with it?

Our Liverpool-based studio client is looking for a Senior Programmer like you who wants to work on new original IPs in an environment where your ideas can come to life.

This is a small established studio which makes it a more personable environment, using encouragement and empathy to harness creativity.

They have one successful IP and now starting to embark on a new Open World IP which you will be a part of.

What’s on Offer:

As a business, they have a great work-life balance (Anti-crunch) of 35 hours per week including the use of flexitime. Their core hours are 10 to 4.

Salaries are £55,000 - £65,000 and in addition to the usual benefits there are performance and Christmas bonuses.

Flexible/Remote working. They have lovely offices in the heart of Liverpool and would like someone to come to the office at least a few days a month.

About you:

  • Experience with Unreal Engine 4. (UE5 would be great)
  • Worked on the lifecycle of 1 commercially released game
  • Ability to communicate and work with junior team members

Interview Process:

  • First stage – Intro with People team and Director
  • 2nd and final stage – More in depth with Director and Senior Programmer
