RealSport101.com is a leading site that focuses on sports video games and is looking to expand its reach into broader gaming. The brand is looking for a talented & motivated Gaming Editor to grow the site’s presence in the general gaming sphere. The ideal candidate will have experience in creating and executing content strategies, as well as a good knowledge of, but not limited to, the following titles:
Genshin Impact
Valorant
League of Legends
Honkai: Star Rail
The role is a full-time, remote-working, position where you will work alongside the Sports Group Manager and Content Strategist to build traffic from wider gaming sources. You will be expected to create content yourself and delegate to an in-house team as well as commissioning work to outside authors. This role requires UK working hours.
Role overview
Work with the senior management team to develop RealSport’s gaming content creation strategy
Lead the execution RealSport’s gaming content creation strategy
Generate original story ideas
Write SEO-led news/guide content daily
As our Gaming Editor you are:
Motivated to build something from the ground up
Experienced in the world of gaming journalism
Knowledgeable of SEO
Able to prioritise tasks and delegate where needed
Highly organised and able to use team management tools such as ClickUp
Excellent in your written and verbal communication
Able to work fast and efficiently - reacting quickly to changes and breaking developments
What you will receive:
A salary range of £23,000-£25,000 (DOE) along with a benefits package, designed by our people, for our people. Included in the package is a sales and target-based bonus structure.
