Job Description
Create and implement game-ready art assets for characters, environments, props, and UI.
Integrate art assets into the game engine, including materials, shaders, animations, and prefabs.
Support rapid prototyping by maintaining simple, efficient art workflows and tools.
Collaborate with programmers and designers to ensure visuals support gameplay and player clarity.
Optimize assets and resolve visual or performance issues across builds and playtests.
Job Requirements
Bachelorβs degree in a relevant field is preferred but not required.
Proficiency with modern game engines (e.g., Unity or Unreal) and experience implementing art assets in-engine.
Strong fundamentals in 3D art creation (models, textures, materials), with an understanding of game-ready asset constraints.
Basic technical knowledge of shaders, lighting, materials, and animation setup.
Ability to collaborate closely with programmers and designers to solve visual and technical challenges.
Awareness of performance considerations such as draw calls, texture sizes, and asset optimization.
Experience working on a commercial game or a portfolio of personal game projects is a plus.
