The Role

We grew revenue 85% last year, and our ambitions to grow further require that we build out RevOps (Revenue Operations) processes and continue to prospect for new customers. Our marketing attribution technology is market-leading, and our influencer services are world-class. Our customers include some of the world’s top publishers, like Bungie, Capcom, Tencent, Warner Bros., Ubisoft, and Sega. We need your help to improve our sales pipeline and take Gamesight to the next level. On the RevOps side of this position, you will develop and execute pipeline processes working across our sales, marketing, and operations teams. On the SDR (Sales Development Representative) side, you’ll develop prospecting and sales skills, pitch Gamesight to game publishers, and support our Account Executives on key accounts and events. You’ll play games, join communities, and talk with customers about how we can help make their games marketing more successful. What you'll do:

  • Develop and execute strategies for generating new leads for Gamesight’s attribution and influencer products.
  • Take initial calls with new leads to introduce Gamesight and qualify opportunities.
  • Own the sales pipeline processes in coordination with the marketing team and account executives.
  • Maintain, improve, configure, and run reports on our CRM.
  • Work closely with the CRO to evaluate, purchase, and implement new lead generation / pipeline mgmt software.
  • Assist our account managers and marketing teams in preparation for major industry events like GDC, Gamescom, and Twitchcon.
  • Study past successful practices and adapt your own style to increase our conversion rate and number of meetings secured.
  • Learn what types of companies (endemic, non-endemic) Gamesight should be targeting, conduct research into those companies, and present your findings to the sales team. Dedicate daily time to understanding the video gaming marketplace and how Gamesight fits.

Who you'll work with:

  • You'll report directly to the CRO, who will help remove obstacles in your way.
  • You’ll develop new business opportunities for Account Executives and partner with them to drive deals towards a close (and earn commissions when you do)
  • You’ll partner up with our Solutions Engineers to help educate account executives on new product features being released.
  • You’ll partner with marketing to develop an efficient process to take raw leads generated from marketing activities (e.g. like LinkedIn follows, report downloads) and turn them into qualified leads.
  • You’ll have access to supporting team members and resources across departments to help you succeed.

Requirements:

  • 1+ years working in a games or technology company, preferably in the sales or marketing department. 📅
  • Reside in the United States or Canada. 🇺🇸 🇨🇦
  • Familiarity with the PC & Console video games and gaming content creators. 🎥
  • The ability to quickly learn new products and pitch them to publishers around the world. 💻
  • Excellent organizational skills. 🧠
  • Excellent interpersonal and writing skills. 📝
  • Ready to run & grow in a high-performance company working within a fast-paced industry. 🚤
  • Experience with key tools: CRM, Slack, Excel/Google Sheets. 🖥
  • You are eager to learn. As a pioneer in a new space, there are still uncharted territories to be explored. You have a hunger for learning and an interest in being the best at what you do. 📚
  • Flexibility to occasionally take calls at odd hours with publishers in Europe and Asia. 🌏

  • Active social media presence - you’re active on LinkedIn, understand the power of Discord, and maybe even have your own Twitch or TikTok account.
  • Avid PC/console gamer who plays and understands our customers’ products. 🎮
  • Located on the West Coast of the United States (CA, WA, OR). 🗺

  • You are aware of Gamesight policies, guidelines, teams, and roles. 📚
  • You are initiating relationships with new publishers to generate sales opportunities. 💲

  • You can access all tools and resources required for you to be effective – you also understand how to use these tools within Gamesight’s processes. ⌨️
  • You understand Gamesight’s methodology and approach to influencer campaigns, creator programs, and community-building. 🤓
  • You understand our dashboard and its capabilities for both campaigns and attribution. 🕸️
  • You've started building a new lead pipeline in coordination with the marketing team. 🔨
  • You’re running reports for the CRO and keeping our CRM sparkling clean 🧽
  • You’re working with the CRO and tech teams to evaluate new pipeline management software. 🆕

  • The compensation for this role is between $55,000 and $65,000 base salary plus commission.
