Job Description

We are currently looking for a Senior Game Data Analyst to join our Data team.

As part of the game production team, and working under the supervision of the Global Director of Data Science and Analytics, the successful candidate will work closely with relevant parties to collect, clean, analyze and automate the data-exploitation process. The candidate will have to model, predict and segment vast amounts of data from our customers. Additionally, the candidate will collaborate with an international team of data experts, share their knowledge, and contribute to improving the skills of the technical data team.

  • Lead analytics efforts with the ultimate goal of improving our games

  • Act as a solid bridge between business and technical teams with proactive and effective communication

  • Advocate and execute a hypothesis-driven analytical framework with all stakeholders

  • Oversee game KPIs, conduct thorough investigations into trends, and apply A/B testing and statistical methods to evaluate features and impact future directions

  • Serve as a leader and mentor for a small data team, directly influencing the game's success and fostering a culture of hypothesis-driven insights, blending analytical skill with creative intuition

Qualifications

  • 5+ years of experience performing quantitative analysis, preferably in the game industry

  • Bachelor's degree or higher in Math, Business Intelligence, Economics, Engineering or another technical field

  • Sophisticated understanding of business and monetization

  • Excellent SQL skills: extensive experience querying large, complex data sets

  • Knowledge of a scripting language, either R or Python, is an asset

  • Proven ability to work in a fast-paced environment, meet ever-changing deadlines and handle priorities for multiple projects at once

  • Excellent organizational, communication and interpersonal skills

  • Comfortable and confident giving presentations and communicating analyses

  • Strong English skills, written and spoken (this is a must)

  • Passion for video games
