Job Description
As a Game Manager at Gameloft, you will play a pivotal role in co-defining the vision of our Paris studio games alongside the Creative Director. You will be responsible for guiding projects from concept to release, translating creative visions into tangible game design and creative goals, and ensuring alignment across all deliverables. This is a senior-level position that requires a strong collaborative spirit, keen industry insights, and a deep understanding of the mobile games landscape.
What you will do :
Decide and maintain the product roadmap with the team leads, based on a combination of market reality, analytical insights from data, and operational capabilities
Set the long-term strategy and goals of the product, with the aim of maximizing the top line while optimizing the P&L
Lead a cross-functional team (including Design, Production, Marketing, User Acquisition, QA, Monetization etc. and other related groups spread throughout the company organization) to deliver features to the highest quality standards, in alignment with performance goals, and leveraging the best suited toolset
Oversee the development process, providing guidance and direction to the development team to ensure the successful execution of the game's vision.
Stay informed about industry trends, market dynamics, and player preferences to inform decision-making and drive innovation.
Foster a collaborative and inclusive work environment, encouraging creativity, communication, and teamwork across all disciplines.
Serve as a key liaison between different departments, ensuring effective communication and coordination throughout the development process.
Qualifications
Who you are :
Bachelor's degree in Game Design, Computer Science, or a related field (Master's degree preferred).
At least 10 years of experience in game development, with a focus on mobile games.
Proven track record of successfully managing and delivering projects from concept to release.
Deep understanding of game design principles, mechanics, and player psychology.
Strong leadership skills with the ability to motivate and inspire teams to achieve their best work.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with diverse teams and stakeholders.
Proficiency in project management tools and software.
Passion for gaming and a commitment to delivering exceptional player experiences.
