Job Description
As a Build and Release Engineer at Gameloft, you'll streamline build pipelines and DevOps practices for game development. This includes standardizing pipelines, optimizing tools for performance and cost efficiency, and integrating technologies like Jenkins, Kubernetes, and Unreal Engine builds.
Responsibilities
Leading build pipelines and DevOps for games, enforcing standards and best practices.
Managing game-related packages and artefacts centrally for efficient distribution.
Enhancing game development tools and pipelines for better performance and cost-effectiveness.
Maintaining accurate and accessible documentation for version control systems like Git and Perforce.
Qualifications
Minimum 5 years in game development, focusing on build and release engineering.
Proficiency in C++, C# and Python, with experience in scripting for build pipelines.
Deep understanding of Git and Perforce, including pros and cons.
Hands-on experience with Jenkins, GitLab CI/CD, or similar tools.
Proven track record in designing and optimising build pipelines for major game engines like Unreal, covering code and data pipelines.
