What You'll Do
The MetaHuman team is looking for a Senior Technical Animator to help drive innovation in high-quality character deformation. Interested candidates should have a great understanding of the fundamentals of anatomy and flesh simulation.
In this role, you will
Collaborate with R&D, engineers and artists to develop the next-generation of industry-leading muscle and flesh simulation workflows.
Drive tooling development through iterative evaluation and insightful feedback.
Champion customer needs by translating desired features into actionable plans.
Battle-test features by crafting high-quality creature simulation rigs.
Develop technical documentation for complex rigging processes, such as body deformation and muscle workflows in Unreal Engine.
Positively contribute to team development through knowledge sharing and skill development.
What we're looking for
Experience in muscle rigging
Strong eye in anatomy and body mechanics
Familiarity with optimisation and performance constraints in game engines.
